SuperJet International (a joint venture formed by Italy's Alenia Aeronautica and Russia's Sukhoi Civil Aircraft) and the U.S. leasing company Willis Lease Finance Corporation have signed a memorandum of understanding on the purchase of six Sukhoi SuperJet-100 (SSJ-100) planes and an option for the purchase of another four planes. The amount of the deal exceeds $300m in catalog prices, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft's press office announced today.
The first supplies of SSJ-100 (with 98 seats) are scheduled to be launched in September 2012.
